Bomb disposal experts have dealt with a grenade found in a garden shed.
Crews were called by the police to attend a property in Loose Road, Maidstone, after the explosive was found yesterday.
The force arrived shortly after 11.30am and called for support from the Ministry of Defence.
The military experts safely removed the bomb and disposed of it at their base.
The home was declared safe at 2.30pm.
