The Fox and Goose pub in Maidstone is up for sale, with agents asking for offers over £125,000.

Listed on rightmove as “one of the best pub and restaurant businesses in Maidstone” the historic pub is for sale on a leasehold basis by Nationwide Business Sales.

Dating back to the 17th Century, the Fox and Goose still has a number of its original features and includes a large beer garden, car park, and five-bedroom owner's accommodation.

Rightmove list the sale as an “incredibly rare opportunity at a fantastic price” and say the pub is a “Top 20 restaurant”, describing it as a “Significantly profitable business,” with a “fantastic reputation, excellent position and location.”

With its large beer garden, indoor dining area, private dining area and an extra outdoor timber ‘Garden Room’, the pub has a total seating capaicty of over 200.

Accounts show a turnover of £546,817, generating an adjusted net profit in excess of £100,000.
