An 88-year-old motorist, who went missing from Maidstone, has been found safe and well.

Michael Lowe was last seen in the Sutton Road area of the town at around 5.10pm yesterday before his disappearance.

He was believed to be driving a blue or grey coloured Vauxhall Corsa.

Police have thanked everyone who helped in the search for Mr Lowe.
