A SCOOTER rider was involved in a collision this afternoon with two cars, blocking one of the major routes into Maidstone.

The accident happened at about 4.20pm in Royal Engineers Road causing queues of traffic along the dual carriageway towards Blue Bell Hill.

A police spokeswoman said that no-one involved in the incident had suffered serious injury.
