Traffic is clearing on the M20 after a lane was closed near Junction 8, the Leeds Castle turn-off.

A lorry had overturned on the exit slipway on the coastbound side at around 6.35pm.

There were reports of heavy traffic in the area and police urged drivers to be cautious.

Highways officials confirmed traffic returned to normal at around 7.15pm.
