Maidstone: Man attacks lorry driver on A249 Mote Road, at junction with Upper Stone Street

A lorry driver was beaten over the head after being attacked by another driver last week.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man allegedly left his white car and approached the lorry driver, who was also out of his vehicle on the A249 Mote Road, Maidstone.

The driver of the white car allegedly used a weapon to assault assaulted the lorry driver, before driving away towards Loose.

The incident happened at around 5.55pm on Friday, February 8, at the junction with Upper Stone Street.

The lorry driver was taken to a local hospital, but did his injuries were not life threatening.

Officers investigating the incident are keen to speak to anyone who saw the incident or who may have dashcam footage.
