Road closed after lorry hits scaffolding outside shop

This is the scene that has closed a major road... after a lorry hit scaffolding.

The A225 Tonbridge Road was shut in both directions near Sevenoaks after the accident between Oak Lane and the A224 London Road this afternoon.

It is believed the lorry struck scaffolding outside a jeweller's between Oak Lane and A224 London Road.

All roads approaching the junction were closed and traffic was diverted via the A21 while the scene was cleared.
