Pop legend Madonna will be coming to Maidstone next month to play at Radio 1's Big Weekend.
The main line-up for the free ticketed event at Mote Park on May 10 and 11 was announced this morning on DJ Chris Moyles’ Radio 1 breakfast show, revealing which top bands will be performing on the main stage for the weekend.
As well as Madonna – who is currently top of the charts with Four Minutes featuring Justin Timberlake – electro-pop band Goldfrapp, American stars Usher and Nelly, Swedish sensation Robyn, and Welsh songstress Duffy will also be performing.
The Kooks, The Feeling, The Enemy, The Hoosiers, The Fratellis, Pigeon Detectives, Adele, One Republic, Newton Faulkner, and Scouting for Girls complete the line-up.
Registration for tickets is now open at the Radio 1 Big Weekend website and will stay open until 10am Monday, April 28.
Tickets are free but you'll need to register your details.
Tickets are limited. Preference will be given to people living in and around Maidstone.
Successful applicants will get a pair of tickets for their chosen day.
Further announcements about the concert will be made by other Radio 1 DJs throughout the day.
