Maidstone men charged with car theft spree

Two men have been charged with a spree of thefts from cars near Maidstone.

Michael Amos, 23 and Aaron Jones, 19, both of Square Hill Road, Maidstone, are accused of stealing belongings from seven cars parked in the road in Leeds, Langley and Boughton Monchelsea within a 15 day period.

Amos is also charged with wasting police time, driving without a licence or insurance, and possession of cannabis.

Jones faces a further charge of fraud.

The pair will appear before magistrates on Friday, September 11.
