Rail passengers faced major disruption due to a tree blocking the line at Beltring this afternoon.
Several Southeastern trains were cancelled between Maidstone West and Paddock Wood and trains were replaced with buses between midday and 2pm.
Network Rail engineers worked quickly to remove the tree and reopen the section of track.
Delays were expected to continue on services until 3.30pm.
