A road is closed after a crash between a car and a lorry.

Traffic both ways on the Ashford Road A20 near Lenham has been stopped after an air ambulance, firefighters, police and paramedics were called to the incident.

Congestion is now building following the incident at the Faversham Road and Hubbard Hill junction.

Police were called at around 3.20pm and are still currently in attendance.

No serious injuries have been reported, a police spokesman said.

The ambulance service has been asked for more information.
