Park Wood, Maidstone: Kent Police appeal for information after onesie robbery at petrol station

Police have made an arrest after a man wearing a Dalmatian onesie robbed a Maidstone petrol station.

The suspect raided the BP Park Wood Service Station dressed in a distinctive white all-in-one with black spots on it.

It is alleged the man was seen holding a knife as he shouted at staff to open the till before reaching over the counter and opening it himself.

Cash was stolen during the incident at 8pm on Wednesday, March 9, before the suspect fled in the direction of Wallis Avenue, Park Wood.

A 24-year-old man from Maidstone has been arrested and bailed pending further inquiries until Wednesday, April 6.

Officers are appealing to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious or who saw anyone fitting this description to get in touch.
