Enjoy a ride aboard a motorcycle and help raise funds for the Heart of Kent Hospice.

The hospice is holding a summer fete at Aylesford Rugby Club, Hall Road, Aylesford, 10am-4pm, on Sunday, August 9.

There's lots to do but an extra attraction this year is a sponsored Pillion Pals Bike Ride.

The joint event being held by The Heart of Kent Hospice in association with Friends and Bikers Motorcycle Club will take passengers on a short ride on the back of a motorcycle through Aylesford village, along Hall Road and London Road, with a photo opportunity at Preston Hall before returning to the rugby club.

From teenagers to grandparents, you can enjoy the ride for a £5 donation per ride.

Riders are also encouraged to raise additional sponsorship for the hospice.

All Pillion Pals must be aged 18 or over and will need to pre-register for the event in order to be allocated a ride time. Safety helmets will be provided.
