A driver was taken to hospital after a rush hour crash between a car and a truck last night.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the accident on a coastbound stretch of the M20 at 6.16pm.

One man, who was driving the Renault Expression, was taken to hospital as a precaution.

The collision, which happened just before Junction 8, caused delays after one lane was closed and reopened around 45 minutes later.
