New-born Arabella Moore can be certain of one thing: no one in the family is going to forget her birthday.
Arabella was born in the water-birthing unit at Maidstone Hospital on Tuesday, January 27 - which just so happens to be the birthday of her father, Michael, and her grandmother, Susan.
Arabella was due on January 24, and Michael, 33, and Susan, 63, had planned to go out together on Tuesday for an Indian dinner.

Mr Moore, an investment banker, said: “We usually do something to celebrate our joint birthdays. Of course, that had to be postponed when Arabella was late. It came as a special interruption.
”It’s incredible just to have two birthdays on the same day in two generations but to have Arabella come along to make three is just extra special.”

Arabella weighed in at 8lb 3oz, and is a sister for Ophelia, 21 months.
Their mother, Carly, is a teacher at Boughton Monchelsea Primary School.
Grandmother Susan Higgs is also a teacher and travelled over from North Stifford in Essex to meet her new grandchild at her son’s home in Cripple Street, Maidstone.
She said: “It was the most wonderful birthday present ever and second time round it was just even more amazing, it’s great.
“We hoped it would happen again, but we just thought what are the chances.
She added: “I thought Michael was joking at first. I just couldn’t believe it.”
