A249 Sittingbourne Road to be closed between M20 junction 7 and M2 junction 5

The Sheppey-bound A249 will be closed for five nights this week between the M20 and M2.

Between tonight and Friday, Kent County Council will shut the road from 9pm until 6am.

It is for resurfacing works, and a diversion will be signposted.

Then from next Monday, March 27, the other side will be closed for non-resurfacing improvements for five nights over the same time frame.
