Maidstone: Overturned van on M20 between junctions 8 and 9 eastbound causes traffic jams

A van has overturned on the M20 between junctions 8 and 9.

The accident happened on the coast-bound carriageway close to Maidstone at 1.30pm.

The driver is not believed to have been seriously hurt.

Highways England recovered the vehicle and reopened the road just before 2pm.

Delays have since cleared.
