Maidstone passengers invited to attend Bus Forum to discuss key issues at Beechwood Community Hall

Passengers using Maidstone's buses are being invited to a meeting with campaigners next week.

James Willis and Fran Smith will hold the latest West Maidstone Bus Forum on Thursday, June 6, hoping to discuss local issues affecting passengers.

Among the topics on the agenda are the future of the County Town's Park and Ride services, hospital initiatives and hopes for funding, the Young Person's Travel Pass and other campaign updates.

The meeting comes as Kent County Council announces the launch of a series of feeder bus and taxi bus services to serve rural communities around the county.

Interested parties are invited to attend at 6.30pm on Thursday at Beechwood Community Hall.
