KCC chairman Ann Allen marks Armed Forces Day

Armed Forces Day was marked today as military personnel, Royal British Legion veterans, KCC members and staff, and members of the public watched the annual flag-raising ceremony at County Hall.

KCC Chairman Ann Allen said the event was “a show of support for Britain's Armed Forces - past, present and future.”

She said: “This is an opportunity to raise the flag in honour of the men and

women who make up the Armed Forces community, including Service families, cadets, veterans and recruits.
