The petrol station is on the same site as South Aylesford Retail Park, which is home to Nando’s, Halfords and M&S.

It will be shutting this Monday (January 29) for up to five weeks.

Staff have been warning motorists of the closure, with one customer being told that they are replacing the canopy.

The main store will be open as normal.

A Sainsbury’s spokeswoman said: “The petrol station at our Larkfield superstore is temporarily closing while we carry out maintenance works.
