A man reported missing from Maidstone has been found safe and well.

A search was launched for John Chadwick after he was last seen at his home in Boxley Road at 3pm on Wednesday.

The 51-year-old had last made contact with friends at 7.50pm on Thursday and was thought to have travelled to the Holborn or Elephant and Castle areas of central London.

Police confirmed on Saturday evening he had been found safe and well in the capital.
