CCTV appeal following reported fraud at Co-op supermarket in Week Street, Maidstone

A fraudster is alleged to have gained a refund for shopping she had not purchased.

The suspected swindle took place at a branch of the Co-op supermarket in Maidstone on January 29.

It is reported that a woman entered the store in Week Street at around 2.30pm and returned the good, including alcohol, for a reimbursement.

Police officers investigating the alleged fraud have now issued CCTV images of a person they believe could help with their enquiries.
