Police investigating an incident where a man may have tried to use a credit card to get into someone's flat in Tunbridge Wells have released an e-fit of a man they would like to speak to.

In July, a 22-year-old woman living in Dunstan Road reported finding a man loitering in her hallway carrying a card. He claimed to have wandered into the wrong flat and then ran away empty handed, but it is believed the door had been locked and officers think he had intended to get into the empty flat to burgle it.
The tactic of using a celluloid material to access doors with Yale locks is known as “loiding”. Officers are looking into a number of similar offences where this was used, although not necessarily by the same offender.
The suspect is described as 6ft tall, of slim build, and having short dark brown hair and a Southern accent. If you think you can help then contact Kent Police or, alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
