Police seize cannabis resin worth £1.5million in Paddock Wood

Police have swooped on 200kg of cannabis resin with an estimated street value of more than £1million in Paddock Wood.

The find was made in Queen Street, Paddock Wood, at around 4.30pm on Monday.

On searching two vans they found boxes filled with what is believed to be cannabis resin, estimated to be worth around £1.5m.

Officers from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate are investigating the find.

DS Tristan Kluibenschadl said: "This is a significant seizure and we have been successful in taking a huge amount of drugs off the streets.

"If anyone has any information surrounding the supply and use of drugs, please contact the police, all information received is treated in the strictest confidence."

Danny Malone, 43, of Collier Street, Tonbridge was arrested and charged with conspiring to supply class B drugs. Marek Sieprawski, 34, was arrested and charged with conspiring to supply class B drugs.

They are in custody were due to appear before magistrates today (Wednesday).
