Pretenders star added to Hop Farm Festival bill

Pretenders singer Chrissie Hynde is among the stars added to the bill for the Hop Farm Festival this summer.

It's already shaping up to be a star-studded event, with headline acts including Morrissey, the Eagles, Lou Reed, Bryan Ferry, Iggy and the Stooges and Brandon Flowers.

More acts were included this week, including Chrissie Hynde whose hits with the Pretenders include Brass In Pocket.

Also added were Damien Dempsey, Manu Chao La Ventura, Tim Booth, The Duke Spirit, Kitty Daisy & Lewis, The Secret Sisters, Goldheart Assembly, Liz & The Ligers, Frankie & The Heartstrings and Cloud Control.

The festival will be held at the Hop Farm Family Park in Beltring, near Paddock Wood, on Friday and Saturday, July 1 and 2.
