Bands looking for their first break can audition now for a gig this summer.

Jam in the Park is to be staged in Brenchley Gardens in Maidstone on Saturday, August 8 and the search is now on for youth bands to play live at the event.

This year youth bands wishing to showcase their talents at Jam in the Park will need to win a place at the Jam Factor auditions being held at the Zebra Bar in King Street, Maidstone, on Sunday, June 7.

Auditions run from midday until 6pm and each band will have the opportunity to perform two tracks in front of a panel of judges. If they get through, they will then play live at Jam in the Park.
