Firefighters were called to a shed fire which had started to spread to other outbuildings and fences.

Crews arrived in Highland Road, Maidstone to find a shed alight at around 11pm last night.

Three fire engines attended and crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets to extinguish the blaze, leaving at around 12.30am.

No casualties were reported and the cause is not yet known.
