A 16-year-old has been released without charge and another has been bailed to return to Maidstone police station pending further inquires after an allegation of rape.

The two, from the Maidstone area, were arrested on Wednesday, September 24 after the alleged attack on a teenager between 11.50am and 12.20pm on Sunday, September 21 on a footpath near the River Len in Maidstone.
