Morris dancers celebrated May Day in traditional style in Maidstone town centre today.

The members of Kits Coty Morris were in Bank Street this morning, but had earlier danced at dawn at Kits Coty House on Blue Bell Hill at 5.32am.

The side have a packed programme for today, including a visit to Kingswood Primary School this afternoon.

They will also be at the Rochester Sweeps Festival this Saturday (May 4).
