Maidstone's National League opener against York City will be all-ticket.
Capacity for the August 6 clash at the Gallagher Stadium has been set at 2,947, with York fans allocated 465 tickets.
Home tickets go on sale next week.
United chief executive Bill Williams said: "Our first game in top tier of non-league football against a former Football League club – it came as no surprise to me that it would be ticketed.
"This will be the case for several games this season, especially when the capacity is further reduced during the north stand construction.
"It’s times like these when season tickets really come into their own – our 1,100 holders can just turn up on the day with their card.
"At the very least, I’d recommend a fan club membership to get that priority timeslot to buy."
The match is also being shown live on BT Sport, kick-off 12.15pm.
