Maidstone United striker Frannie Collin joins Leatherhead on loan

Maidstone striker Frannie Collin has joined Ryman League Premier Division Leatherhead on loan for a month.

He links up with former Stones captain Steve Watt - now player-assistant boss at the Tanners - and United team-mate Alex Brown who is midway through his own loan.

Collin could make his debut when Leatherhead host Staines on Wednesday night.

Maidstone boss Jay Saunders said: "Frannie had a run of games in early December but with the new additions he's found game time limited of late.

"Leatherhead have a busy few weeks coming up and this will be a good opportunity for him to get some games and hopefully some goals under his belt."

Collin fought his way back into the Maidstone team last month but has fallen down the pecking order again following the arrival of Vas Karagiannis and Dan Sweeney.

The 28-year-old spent a month on loan at Herne Bay earlier this season.
