Cara Brogan and Katherine Waldrom scored for Maidstone as they were beaten 3-2 at home by Sevenoaks in Women's Conference East on Sunday.
They trailed 1-0 after 26 minutes, when Fiona Harland put the visitors ahead, but Brogan made it 1-1 from open play six minutes later.
Sevenoaks restored their advantage just before the hour, when Georgina Watt converted a penalty corner, but Kathryn Waldrom hit Stones level again with another open play strike.
However Davina Ablett settled the contest with another penalty corner six minutes from the end.
The defeat leaves Maidstone bottom, with just one win from eight games.
