Here is the new club badge that will feature on Maidstone shirts next season.

Modern but with a retro 1980s twist, United feel they have struck the ideal balance.

Chief executive Bill Williams said: “There are many examples of clubs throwing away years of history and tradition in search of a modern look. This new badge strikes the right balance. It’s a simpler design, inspired by the heart of the crest, that’s now in club colours.

“Those who’ve followed the Stones for more than 40 years will recognise it from a previous version – it’s a retro design fit for 2015 and beyond.”

The new badge will be used on next season’s home and away kits, new merchandise and across the internet.

Stones’ current crest will continue to be used on club stationery and stadium
signage.
