Maidstone United sign former Stevenage and Queens Park Rangers striker Joseph N'Guessan

Maidstone have signed a new centre-forward in time for Saturday’s National League home game against North Ferriby.

Joseph N’Guessan, 21, started his career at Stevenage, making a handful of first-team appearances, and he’s also had loan spells at clubs including Aldershot and St Albans.

The striker spent last season with QPR’s development squad and has joined Stones after impressing on trial.

Manager Jay Saunders said: “Joseph’s been in training with us and, with a busy period coming up, he gives us options ahead of those games.

“While still a young age, he’s benefited greatly from his time at Stevenage and more recently with QPR.”
