A man was allegedly struck over the head with either a log or a bottle in an unprovoked assault at a West Malling pub.
Two men, both in their 20s, were set upon at The Farmhouse, in High Street, by two assailants, leaving them both with head injuries.
Detectives are now appealing for information following the attack, which happened more than two months ago at 10.30pm on Saturday, March 12.
A police spokesman said: "Officers have been pursuing a number of lines of enquiry since the incident, including speaking to potential witnesses at the scene and reviewing CCTV.
"They are now urging anyone who has not yet been spoken to, to come forward."
It is reported that following a dispute, both victims were initially pushed by a man or one of his friends.
One was then struck over the head with an object, believed to be either a bottle or log for the fire, leaving him with cuts and bruising.
The other was left with a fracture above his ear.
Detective Constable Wes Marston said: "We have made a number of enquiries since the incident and are now trying to trace any witnesses that may not yet have been identified.
"The pub was very busy on the night in question and we are particularly keen to speak to two women who are believed to have assisted one of the victims immediately after the incident."
