Delays have cleared after a car hit a barrier on the A228 near Leybourne and West Malling.

Emergency services were called at around 6.30am and one lane on the southbound carriageway was shut between the junctions for the A20 London Road and Tower View.

A police spokesman said: "It was reported that a car was involved in a collision with a road barrier.

"No injuries have been reported."

"Officers are still at the scene and the vehicle will be recovered shortly."

The road had reopened by 8.45am.
