Firefighters were called to a fire in the kitchen of a house near West Malling this evening.
Two fire engines were sent to Lysander Road, off the A228 by Kings Hill, at about 5.45pm after an oven caught alight.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus put out the fire and a high-pressure fan was used to clear the smoke from the two-storey house.
No one was said to have been hurt.
