It's the hottest May Bank Holiday in 40 years and one Kent motorist seems to have taken measures into their own hands.

A picture shared on Twitter shows one passenger hanging out of a Blue Audi near junction three of the M20.

According to one eye witness, the vehicle was "travelling at 50mph".

The picture was shared to Kent Police with the a tweet from @LiamRyan87, who wrote: "Morning, just wanted to check that this isn’t considered normal behaviour while driving down a motorway?"

A video posted on Twitter showed that the car was moving

A spokesperson from Kent Police said: "Officers from the Roads Policing Unit are reviewing the circumstances surrounding the incident to determine whether any offences have been committed."
