A man suffered a crushed leg in an apparent industrial accident in Borough Green.

Paramedics and fire crews were called to fresh fish suppliers Chapmans of Sevenoaks Ltd at the Hornet Business Estate, Quarry Hill Road shortly after 5am today.

An air ambulance was also scrambled to the scene.

The man, in his 40s, was taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital with fractures to his leg.

The circumstances of the accident are not yet clear.

The Health and Safety Executive is not investigating.
