Nando's opens at South Aylesford Retail Park

A new chicken restaurant has hatched at a retail park.

Nando’s opened its doors at the South Aylesford Retail Park today.

Cllr Roger Dalton, mayor of Tonbridge and Malling, cut the ribbon on the new outlet, which has created 26 new jobs and is set to host 138 guests, with 112 indoor seats, and 26 outside.

The mayor even enjoyed "dabbing" with members of staff to celebrate the occasion.

Claire Maude, asset manager at The Crown Estate, who own the retail park off the A20 London Road, said: “We are delighted to be welcoming Nando’s to the scheme. The restaurant is hugely popular and brings something new and exciting to the retail park for all our loyal customers.

Nicky Clarke, Nando’s regional marketing director, said: “We’re thrilled to be opening the doors to our first restaurant in South Aylesford and look forward to welcoming peri peri fans through the door.”
