Amberley Homes plans self-build offer on former Gatehouse Nursery site in Hildenborough

A disused plant nursery could be re-developed as four detached homes.

Amberley Homes is seeking planning permission from Tonbridge and Malling council to remove the old polytunnels from the Gatehouse Nursery site in Coldharbour Lane, Hildenborough, with a view to replacing them with four self-build, single-storey properties.

The application is outline at present with just the access from Coldharbour Lane and the principle of development being considered.

The applicants say each home will have a plot passport, determining what size of home can be built there.

But it is envisioned they will all be four-bedroom properties.

Each will have a garage and two additional parking spaces.

Details can be seen on the council website here, under application number 23/00378.

The site falls within the green belt.
