FOUND: Thomas Vernon, 83, suffers from dementia and went missing from his home in Rainham

An 83-year-old man who went missing from his home has now been found.

Thomas Vernon is currently receiving medical treatment after police put out an appeal to try and find the pensioner, who suffers with dementia.

Thomas Vernon, 83, is thought to have left his home just before 5am on Tuesday June 2.

He went missing from his home in Rainham at around 5am and was found just before 5pm.
