Air ambulance lands in Rainham Recreation Ground

Emergency services, including the air ambulance have been called to a medical emergency.

The emergency helicopter, police and paramedics were called to Station Road in Rainham at around 11.10am.

The air ambulance was spotted over Rainham

The helicopter landed in Rainham Recreation Ground.

Police spokesman Martin Very said: "We were called to a report of a medical incident near Station Road, Rainham.

"Officers attended the scene where they assisted South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb)."

The air ambulance and SECAmb have been approached for more information.
