Man suffers broken arm after fight in Pimpernel Way, Chatham

A man suffered a broken arm and scratches to his back after a fight at an address in Chatham.

The fracas happened outside a home in Pimpernel Way, Chatham on Easter Monday.

The altercation involved five people who were all known to each other and happened at about 6.30pm.

The man who was injured was taken to hospital but has since been discharged.

It is thought the scratches on his back may have been caused by a knife.

Kent Police said they had spoken with a number of potential witnesses and arrested three men, a woman and a teenage girl in connection with the disturbance.

All have been bailed pending further inquiries.

However, officers are now appealing for witnesses.

Police spokesman James Walker said: "Officers would like to speak to a number of people who they believe witnessed the incident and who have not yet come forward."
