Armed police called Medway Valley Leisure Park, Strood

Armed police were called to Medway Valley Leisure park following reports of a man with a gun.

Initial reports on Friday afternoon were that a man was walking around the leisure park in Strood pointing a gun at different people.

Two men were arrested and have now been bailed to appear before Medway Magistrates' Court after being charged with firearms offences.

Ashley Fleming, 24-years-old, of Church Terrace, Chatham and Jordan Vidler, 23-years-old of Tuscan Drive, Chatham were both arrested at around 5.45pm on Friday at Medway Valley Leisure Park, Strood.

They were both later charged with possessing an imitation firearm in a public place and will appear before the court on November 14.
