Three fires crews were sent to a blaze this morning which threatened to spread to neighbouring properties.
Flames consumed a garden shed and fencing in the garden of a home in Magpie Hall Road, Chatham, just before 10am.
Police joined the fire service in responding to the incident and helped manage traffic in the area.
A spokesman said the shed was fully alight on arrival and crews used hose reel jets to extinguish the blaze, which had also started to spread to nearby sheds and fences.
Crews were called at 9.56 am and fought the flames with hose reel jets and managed to put the fire out by 11am.
No casualties were reported, and the exact cause is not yet known.
