Blue star Lee Ryan from Chatham banned from road after drink-drive arrest in west London

Blue singer Lee Ryan from Kent has today been giving a two-year ban after being arrested for drink-driving.

The 30 year-old, who was born in Chatham, was arrested last month after officers said he had been driving erratically.

He admitted criminal damage and failing to provide a breath test at Ealing Magistrates' Court this morning, where he was supported by his bandmates.

Ryan has also been fined more than £3,000.

The former Chatham Grammar School pupil was pulled over by police in west London early on Friday, April 11.

He was stopped on suspicion of drink-driving and was taken into custody when he refused to provide a breath test.

Ryan was charged with criminal damage and failing to provide a specimen.
