Brick thrown at boy

A teenager suffered a head injury after a brick was thrown at him by a trio of thugs in Strood.

The 14-year-old boy who has not been named, was attacked in the early hours of Thursday, March 24, in Strood, but details have only just been released by police.

Officers investigating the assault, which happened between 3.30am and 3.50am, have not revealed why the boy was out at that time of the morning.

The assault happened close to Broomhill Park, in King Arthurs Drive, and the boy suffered a 1in cut to his head and as the brick hit him he fell to the ground and cut his knee.

His head injury later had to be glued together and he also had to have stitches in his knee.
