A fire crew was called after a car burst into flames near a new housing development in Chatham.
The blaze started just after 4.30pm near Horsted Park, at the junction with Marconi Way and City Way.
One fire engine was called and the crew extinguished the flames with water.
No-one was injured in the blaze but the car was destroyed.
