Firefighters were called after a second car burst into flames today.
The blaze happened on the M2 coast bound between junction 3 and junction 4, adding to delays following an earlier crash.
The Peugeot car caught light just after 2pm, and no one is believed to have been injured.
Fire fighters used a hose reel to extinguish the blaze.
This is the second car fire today following an earlier incident in Dover.
